Description:

As a Repair & Service Technician at Home Roofing Solutions, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of repair and service-related tasks for both past and new customers. This includes responding to service calls, diagnosing and fixing issues, performing small construction projects, and installing gutters and skylights. Your ability to assess concerns accurately, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality solutions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the long-term reputation of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Repair Support

• Respond to service requests from existing Home Roofing Solutions customers
• Assess, troubleshoot, and diagnose roofing concerns or leaks
• Perform necessary repairs on asphalt shingles, metal roofing, EPDM, and related systems
• Clearly communicate findings and repair plans to customers with professionalism

New Repair Calls & Small Projects

• Take on new inbound repair projects from prospective customers
• Perform site visits, take photos, and recommend repair scopes
• Install new gutters, downspouts, and related drainage systems
• Complete small-scale construction projects including roof tie-ins, chimney flashing, and skylight installations
• Accurately document repairs performed, materials used, and jobsite photos
• Provide notes to the Operations Team for scheduling, billing, and future customer needs
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite at all times

Teamwork & Safety

• Collaborate with the Operations and Production teams as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper PPE
• Report any safety concerns, customer issues, or material needs promptly

Qualifications

• 3+ years of roofing or construction experience preferred
• Proficient in roofing repair techniques (shingle, metal, EPDM)
• Skilled in gutter installation and basic carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

As a Yard Technician at Home Roofing Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by maintaining the organization, safety, and flow of materials through the yard and warehouse. You'll be responsible for loading trailers, managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and ensuring crews have what they need to perform at a high level. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Yard & Warehouse Operations

• Keep the yard, warehouse, and material storage areas clean and organized
• Unload jobsite trailers and sort reusable materials vs. debris
• Accurately and efficiently load trailers with materials for scheduled jobs
• Perform basic maintenance on yard equipment and trailers
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report material needs
• Deliver materials or equipment to job sites as needed
• Coordinate debris pile removal with outside vendors

Team Support & Safety

• Communicate clearly with the operations team and field staff
• Ensure all loading and material handling meets safety guidelines
• Report safety concerns or equipment needs to management
• Work efficiently, reliably, and with a strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction setting preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to lift and move up to 80 lbs. and work outdoors in all conditions
• Forklift experience is a plus, or willingness to learn
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and physically capable
