The Federal government has approved Disaster Relief Assistance for areas of Maine that were severely affected by the wind & rainstorm that hit Maine in 2023 between December 17 - 21. Financial relief and assistance for home repairs may be available to you in Western and Central Maine. Assistance may include:

• Grants for home repairs
• Low interest loans for uninsured property
• Additional FEMA programs TBD

According to FEMA, individuals and families that experienced severe property damage in the following Maine counties December 17-21 2023 qualify for direct assistance:

• Androscoggin
• Franklin
• Kennebec
• Oxford
• Somerset
